Los Angeles Career College

HeartCode® BLS is an official, self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program from the American Heart Association (AHA). 

Los Angeles Career College Online Course Policy:

  • NO REFUNDS on Online Courses
  • Exchanges from an online course to a physical in-class course is only allowed if the keycode has not been sent to the student

BLS Online Has 3 Parts:

  • Part 1 – A self-paced series of online training modules
  • Part 2 – Skills practice at our facility
  • Part 3 – Skills test at our facility

Intravenous (IV) Therapy and Blood Withdraw Course approved by the California Board of Vocational Nurses (BVNPT) and Board of Registered Nurse (BRN).

The intravenous therapy and blood withdrawal course is graded on a pass/fail basis.  Graduates of this program are awarded a certificate of completion from the Los Angeles Career College.  Participants completing the course will receive certification in IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal and may incorporate this training within their scope of practice.

This Nurse Assistant Program will provide the academic and practical knowledge that is involved in becoming a CNA or Certified Nurse Assistant. Our instructors will prepare you for employment as a nursing assistant in a health care facility.

Phlebotomy Program approved by the California Department of Public Health - Laboratories, including 5 days (40 hours) of classroom / hands-on component.  

This Phlebotomy Program will provide you with the academic and practical knowledge that is involved in becoming a Phlebotomist / CPT-1.  Our instructors will prepare you for employment as a Phlebotomist in a health care facility.
